9/13/2020

In August 2020, the Trustees launched a public appeal for donations to raise funds to repair and restore the boundary walls that encompass the site, which have been in need of attention. We're so pleased to see so many people from all over the world, with or without connection to the site, give generously for us to achieve this goal. Details are here if you would like to contribute.

Overhead view

Here is a terrific over head view of the cemetery with all the graves laid out, including the Cohanim section in the top right. The trustees would like to thank Mr Ralf Touby for donating his time and taking this photo using his skills and equipment. You can see more of Ralf's wonderful work here.

This month the trustees began a long overdue series of works to repair and restore the cemetery grounds.

Replacing the amenities facility

The old facility pictured here has been in serious need of replacement. Over the course of a week the trustees oversaw the demolition of the old structure and the construction of a new and reliable facility.

Landscaping the grounds

Some sections of the grounds were recently resurfaced making it more accessible and presentable. This included gravel being laid between the gravestones  of the Cohen section, which had previously been overgrown with weeds.
